The Boss is dead, long live the new Boss. You think. Maybe it’s time for you to make your moves from behind the scenes, to grow your muscle and make a play against your rivals. Do you have what it takes?

Just Business is a game for 2 players (with more rivals with each additional set). Players compete against each other by taking on the most jobs by force and acquiring guns, robbery, and rackeeteering resources.

Players take turns hiring new muscle or using their stacks of money to get ahead of their rivals. Tokens are used to complete jobs, earn respect, and become the new Boss of Bosses.

The game starts with three stack (money) tokens for each player. An additional stack is given to each player at the start of their turn. Below is what a two-player game looks like.

Just Business: Game Setup

The object of the game is to run your own criminal business. Use your ill-gotten gains to buy Job cards and prove you’ve got the skills, and be the first player to reach ten points.

To try to get ahead of your competitors, you can use your bank roll to get a leg up on the competition and recruit new associates like The Backer, The Fence, The Planner, and The Launderer.

Just Business cards lay face-up the whole game. Each player, when it’s their turn, lays the number of stacks or associate required by the card they choose. This way, they can then collect the earnings of the card at the conclusion of their turn.
